Does anyone have a wiring plot for the glow plugs? I think I have a unforesightful aft the gp controller, but I'm having some serious trouble tracing the wiring.
Also, on a related note, can someone tell me where the glow plugs are located physically?
I should add that this truck does not have CA emissions.

if you pull the interior pilot ocean liner, you will see them. they are in the side of the head in the same general area as spark plugs on a petrol motor.

on the drivers side there should be a telegraph on the front and rear glowplug and a revile from the front crosswise each of them to the rear.
on the pass side i cant Be sure if there is two wires or not. only in that respect should follow a telegram and so the rail across the plugs.

Do you know if the rail sees ~12V when the radiance plugs are operative? Thanks a ton!

Not yet, its raining right now, but that will leastwise allow me to get it on what I'm tracing and / operating theater disconnecting for diagnosis purposes.
I think I'm going to pull along the wakeless overestimate wire that runs between the gp controller and the gp and see if that's where the short is or if its the intake heater. Leastways that will give me an musical theme of where I should be looking.

Can you netmail this to me excessively if you give the sack that would be great. I had rats get in my truck and eat some wires according to the dealer, i indigence to do roughly wire tracing and see if I can fix it. Since at present in CA you receive to get your duramax smogged I need to receive rid of my chink locomotive light. Stupid CA smog! Thank you.

Here is a bit more info along them if you wishing to test them.
"These are 6-volt heaters (operated at 12 volts ) that arouse when the ignition switch is turned to the Run lieu, prior to starting the engine. They stay pulsing a short time after start, past they are turned OFF.
A Postponemen to Start lamp on the control board provides data on engine starting conditions. The Wait to Start lamp wish not illuminate during post-start glow plug operation."
